The technician will likely need to unclog the condensate drain line, check the drain pan, or repair a faulty installation. Simply wiping the water is insufficient and allows the mold to proliferate.

Once the leak is permanently stopped and the area is completely dry (which may require industrial air movers), then you call a professional mold remediation company. Do not call a general cleaning company. Mold requires specialized protocols for safe removal and sanitization to prevent spore dispersion and protect your health.
