Isolate the area by sealing the wardrobe and room if possible. Wear an N95 mask, gloves, and goggles. For a small, surface-level patch (less than 1 sqm), you can carefully clean it with a solution of distilled white vinegar or a proprietary mold removal product, ensuring the area is thoroughly dried afterwards. However, given the wall is damp, the mold growth behind the surface is almost certain, making complete DIY eradication ineffective and potentially hazardous.

Investigate if the AC unit serving that room is dripping, clogged, or set at a temperature causing excessive condensation on cold walls.
