My master bedroom closet, which is on an interior wall, has started to have a really strong, damp smell over the last few weeks. I pulled out some winter clothes stored on the floor and found a few dark, fuzzy patches on the back wall behind them. With the humidity lately, I'm worried it's spreading quickly. How urgent is it to get this professionally treated, and should I be concerned about my health in the meantime?
