After the rain last month, I noticed a musty smell coming from the corner of my bedroom closet. When I checked closer, I saw some white spots on one of the shelves that looked suspiciously like mold. My partner says it’s nothing to worry about and we can clean it ourselves, but given our history with allergies, I’m not sure if this is something we should handle alone. Should I seek professional help or can we tackle this ourselves?
