Since we moved into our new apartment three months ago, I’ve noticed a persistent dampness in the basement where we keep most of our food supplies. The area isn’t directly under any leaky pipes or windows, but it does have that slight musty odor. My kids and I have been experiencing coughing fits and sneezing more frequently than before. Could this be related to the moisture issue, and what can I do to address it according to municipality guidelines?
