After the heavy rain last month, I noticed a musty smell coming from the basement area of the apartment. It’s really damp down there, and my furniture and clothes are starting to show signs of moisture. We’ve been living here for two years, and this is the first time something like this has happened. Is it likely that the landlord should be addressing this issue, or am I responsible for maintaining the basement area?
