This involves high-pressure washing and potentially chemical etching, which is not a simple task.

Second, the choice of product is critical. You need an elastomeric, ceramic-infused coating specifically designed for UAE conditions, not just any white paint. It needs to expand and contract with the concrete to avoid cracking. Application is also key; it must be rolled on at a specific mil thickness to be effective. Too thin and it won't last a season, too thick and it can trap moisture.

Professionals will also conduct a moisture survey to ensure the roof slab is dry before application, as sealing in moisture can cause serious structural issues down the line.
