Is AC mold in Dubai a DIY job or professional??« Back to Previous Page

The AC in my apartment in Jumeirah Village Circle has been making us all cough and feel stuffy for a couple of months now. I finally pulled the filter out and the inside of the unit and the surrounding wall have patches of black and greenish dust. I’m handy with tools, but I’m worried about it being dangerous. Is this a DIY clean-up job with bleach, or do I absolutely need to call a professional mold inspection company here?
